Today I logged in to find that I had passed 1,000 views! It may not seem like a lot compared to other websites/bloggers, but it means so much to me. I just wanted to take a little time today to thank everyone who has viewed, followed, and commented on my blog. I really appreciate the kindness and warmth that everyone has shared with me. ❤

When I first thought about blogging, I was super nervous. I knew that I wanted to be able to share my projects and patterns, but what if no one wanted to read it? Concerns like that kept me from blogging for months.
Needless to say, I’m so happy that I went ahead and took the plunge! It’s been fun posting projects, reading blogs, and connecting with other crafters. I’m so excited to be able to share more of my experiences and my patterns with everyone!

  1. Congrats on your milestone! It’s celebrating the little things, right? 😉 Know how you feel, though. I’m always worried I’ll end up with nothing to say that will have people reading. I think that’s pretty normal for most people (at least, I hope it is, because otherwise…).
    I think that the key, like with writing fiction, is to remember to write for your own sake, not anyone else’s. At least, that’s how I intend to do things.

    It really is nice to find that people are interested. I really love reading other people’s blogs, but I’m really hard on myself in that I tend to let myself feel like my words aren’t as important as others. I guess that’s why it feels nice to have hit this milestone. 🙂

    I agree! By far the most enjoyable part has been meeting new people and chatting in the comments. That was why I wanted to start blogging. 😀

    I think it is pretty normal to feel this way, ha ha! But you’re right, it is important to write for yourself. It’s not as fun if it feels like an obligation to someone else. That’s how I feel about it, anyway. 🙂

  12. Congratulations 🎉!! I know what you mean too. I’ve been wanting to blog for years but never had the confidence. I just took the plunge but I struggle with coming up with ideas that would be Interesting to read! Hopefully someday soon ill achieve this milestone too..fingers crossed😉

    And good luck with your new blog! I had a hard time coming up ideas initially, but I find that it’s becoming easier to come up with ideas as I write other entries. I keep a little list on my phone of topics that I want to write about. I definitely recommend keeping notes like that so that you don’t forget about potential entry subjects. 😀
